“SILENCE IN COURT!!!” shouted the Mathematical Magistrate, who had wanted to shout this ever since he saw a film set in courtroom where the judge shouted ‘SILENCE IN COURT!!’ a lot.
“So in what way do you think fractions are better than percentages?” the Mathematical Magistrate asked Mrs Fraction.
“Well M’Lud,” continued Mrs Fraction. “I think all fractions are easy to understand because all you have to do is imagine a number of parts out of a bigger number of parts. So a half is one part out of two, a quarter is one part out of four and a fifth is one part out of five and so on.”
