On-screen activities

In this challenge the computer counting the votes for each Chart Idol contestant has been sabotaged. Players have to help put the computer right by solving some maths problems. There are three activities:

1. Only one
The first problem involves numbers that have been reduced by 1. Players have to input the original number.

Answers:
436 going to 437
499 going to 500
999 going to 1000
6479 going to 6480
8499 going to 8500

2. Numb numbers

3- and 4-digit numbers have been split into hundreds, tens and thousands. Players have to type in the number that they make.

Answers:
100, 50 and 7 = 157
100, 70 and 1 = 171
300 and 4 = 304
6000, 300, 50 and 8 = 6358
9000 and 9 = 9009

3. Doubling dilemmas

This time the votes have been halved. Players have to type in the correct number.
