It's been found that people with maths ability to GCSE level earn on average £8,000 a year more. This provides more reason for numeracy to be one of the themes for this year's Learning at Work Day on May 17th, organised by the Campaign for Learning charity. As illustrated by their contribution to the event, large companies such as British Gas and Channel 4 television all benefit from employees Many firms will be offering help with maths and other essential skills during Learning at Work Day.
